We are proud to announce that we have achieved the Disability Confident Employer status, a recognition of our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity and promotes equality.
The Disability Confident Employer scheme is a voluntary initiative that helps employers “think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people”.
This initiative was driven by our Chorus ED&I committee, setup and run by employees to promote ED&I initiatives. This forms part of our wider Chorus CSR commitment – where we want to make Chorus an inclusive workplace where everyone can be themselves and support the wider community and environment to make a positive impact.
By becoming a Disability Confident Employer, we have joined a community that encourages employers to be more inclusive—to ensure they are giving equal opportunities to the vast array of disabled talent seeking employment or already working for the business.
