Understand NIS2 compliance and learn from our best practices and recommendations
This live event has passed, but you can watch an on-demand recording of the session here.
Coming into force in October 2024, the Network & Information Systems Directive – NIS2 – aims to strengthen cybersecurity measures and management. Under this new directive, organisations across the European Union will face stricter controls and penalties. In this webinar, we will give an overview of NIS2, who is impacted, what the impacts are and then dive into the objectives and requirements to give you a clearer understanding of what is involved and best practices.
We split into two areas: prevention (managing security risk and protecting against cyber-attacks) and response (detecting cyber security incidents and minimizing the impact). With most organisations already invested in Microsoft technology, we will outline what technologies can be used to help meet some of these requirements and then look into effective cybersecurity detection and response.
We cover:
- NIS2 Overview: what is it, who is impacted, and the implications.
- Meeting NIS2 requirements: what are the requirements and how can you meet them
- Prevention: Using Microsoft technologies alongside policies and procedures
- Response: What effective cybersecurity management looks like
- Best practices and next steps to support your compliance journey
