We’re delighted to share a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.
Since January 2023, we’ve contributed to the planting of over 10,000 trees worldwide. This achievement is part of our wider corporate responsibility efforts and working towards greener practices.
Working with Ecologi, an organisation focused on facilitating climate action and environmental projects, has enabled us to efficiently manage our tree planting contributions. Their platform provides insights into the projects we support, such as forest restoration in Kenya, Mangrove planting in Madagascar, and restoring degraded land in Senegal.
Our tree planting efforts are linked to various aspects of our business, including staff birthdays, new contracts, and company headcount growth. For example, every staff birthday, we purchase 10 trees, and for new contracts we scale the number of trees based on the contract value.
While we recognise that our emissions cannot be reduced to zero, we are committed to minimising our emissions where possible and offsetting them, through initiatives like tree planting, green energy contracts and other sustainability measures.
Our journey towards net zero emissions is ongoing, but we are proud of this achievement and look forward to continuing our efforts to support a greener future!
