The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) is a group of Microsoft’s top security partners that offer Microsoft-verified services and solutions built on Microsoft Security products.

What is a Security Operations Centre (SOC) and where is yours based?
A cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC or CSOC) is a central location where security teams monitor and defend against cyber attacks around the clock. The SOC uses advanced technology and skilled analysts to detect, investigate, and respond to potential threats based on real-time data.
Only very large organisations can maintain a SOC internally, due to the costs and skills involved. Typically, SMBs and Enterprise scale organisations will outsource their security to a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) like Chorus. Therefore, the MSSP’s SOC team will manage the security for multiple customers. There are many benefits associated with this model, which has led to increased demand for such services in recent years, as cyber threats have increased.
