The decision to invest in managed services was a deliberate move to future‑proof operations. Nearly ten years later, TasteTech has significantly increased IT maturity, benefitting from their investment in modern Microsoft cloud technologies, with support from Chorus providing day-to-day IT support, proactive monitoring and service governance. This included Azure tenancy management, Intune for device control and Defender for Endpoint protection for devices.
Recognising the scale of cyber threats facing SMBs, TasteTech also added Chorus’s managed security services to strengthen threat detection and response.
During onboarding, the Chorus Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) flagged unusual sign‑in activity and mailbox rule changes.
The incident was contained quickly, which reinforced the value of acting early and validated TasteTech’s proactive investment in cyber security.
With Chorus as a trusted advisor, TasteTech has made confident strategic IT decisions and invested in the right Microsoft technologies over time.
During the late 2010s, TasteTech transitioned to cloud-based IT services, adopting Office 365 with SharePoint for document control. The introduction of Microsoft Teams in 2019 proved pivotal, enabling the business to navigate the challenges of COVID-19 effectively.
